Metamorphosis in response. Sometimes we take ourselves into new directions, breaking free from whatever we see as holding us back. Or something that used to bring us joy now delivers dissatisfaction.

It's the thought that suddenly comes upon us when we aren't expecting it. It can be from a myriad of sources, some thoughts seem more timely than others. Typically, we try to identify it and we might think about it and what it means. Oftentimes the thought gets snatched away by someone cutting us off in traffic, or shoving us to the side so they can get on the subway, which ironically, introduces new thoughts.

The frequency and summation of these thoughts is usually what brings us face to face with decision. Ok, I see it now. Do I have the guts to do it?

The process of change can be difficult, intimidating and uncomfortable. Yet the completion of the process brings its own rewards.

Aenonfire has been going through a transformation: visually; in relaunching with an entire new design—which I hope you like—locationally; we are now in Los Angeles, and also with regards to our approach.

We have always tried to be as real as possible with presenting our work, but within being real we also want to be inclusive.

We are artists that happen to be Christian, who are not happy with the current state of Christianity. Being real and inclusive are two concepts that are probably the farthest from peoples minds when thinking about Christians.

We're here to stop that.

As artists, first and foremost we are interested in our art. This is our gift and our passion. How we present our work and engage with people is the social aspect of our creativity.

As artists who are Christian, we want to dispel the myth that we're supposed to create work that is confined to some Christianity box, that is safe, that will not offend anyone, and that can be easily categorized. Just as any other artist on the planet whether they believe in anything or not, we are included with them.

It's our job to make sure that as we are included, we don't exclude. We're not better than anyone else on any level.

We are here to inspire you to create. We believe that talent is God-given, but that doesn't mean that if you don't believe that you aren't part of our family. Quite the opposite, we value your work, your view and accept you for who you are, right where you are.

This is one thing we don't want to change.

Love never changes, it just is.
